Cats are notorious for their love of playing, and often their favorite toys can be the most unexpected objects. From hair ties to cardboard boxes, these feline friends have a way of finding joy in the most random and mundane things. The ICanHasCheezburger community is full of cat owners who have witnessed their pets' playful shenanigans. We asked them to spill the (toe) beans on the most random and cute objects that their cats love to play with, and the responses did not disappoint.

Some cats love to bat around bottle caps, while others are obsessed with crinkly paper. Some have a particular affinity for socks, while others prefer rubber bands. And of course, there are classic favorites like hair ties!     Font - Tina Godsey The left over "skin" of the dangly ball that was on his cat tree. He eventually ripped it off and of course that caused it to undo itself and all the stuffing came out. Now he runs around and plays with the outer layer "skin" all the time. There are actually a lot of things he plays with that ended up being cute, including a pacifier I got him while he was teething.
